My focal point of interest whilst visiting Bangladesh was to learn about the educational system within a rural area. Most particularly I wanted to meet the children and teachers at the Dokkin Satarphoy School. The school is surrounded by paddy fields and situated within a poor village which lacks the basic amenities of piped water, electricity and proper road access. Despite these drawbacks I was constantly greeted with cheerful smiles and enchanted by the genuine and generous hospitality of the children and the villagers.
